Provide large bandwidth

DISKOMINFO - The presence of the fourth Industrial Revolution era (Industrial Revolution 4.0) is inevitable, where technology has become the basis of human life. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 fundamentally results in changing the way humans think, live, and relate to one another. This era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 will disrupt or shift various human activities in various fields, not only in the field of technology, but also in other fields such as economics, social and politics.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Communication and Information Office of Bantul Regency, Ir. Fenty Yusdayati, M.T., at the opening of the Opportunities and Challenges Workshop of the Bantul Regency Government in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at the Ros In Hotel Yogyakarta. The workshop activity presented the main speaker Prof. Dr. M. Suyanto, M.M., AMIKOM Yogyakarta Chancellor and Dr. Evi Noor Afifah, S.E., M.S.E., from the Faculty of Economics UGM. Attended by the Head of the OPD, the head of Bantul Service, District Head of Bantul Regency and a number of mass media crews. Thursday (21/2).

Fenty further said, the term Industrial Revolution 4.0 originated from a sophisticated technology strategic project of the German Government which prioritized computerization of all factories in the country. In its subsequent development there were recorded several things about the development of the Industrial Revolution that had occurred since the 17th century namely:

The Industrial Revolution 1.0 occurred in the 18th century, marked by the discovery of steam and railroad engines, which were used to replace human and animal power in the production process, the Industrial Revolution 2.0 which occurred in the 19th, 20th century, marked by the invention of electricity, communication devices, materials - chemicals, and oil. Revolution at this stage can be used to implement the concept of mass production.

The Industrial Revolution 3.0 occurred around the 1970s, which was marked by the invention of computers, the internet, and handphone. This third industrial revolution can be used to automate production processes in industrial activities, and now we have entered the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution which occurred in 2010 which was marked by engineering intelligence and the Internet of Thing as the backbone of the movement and connectivity of people and machines, said Fenty.

Prof. Suyanto In his presentation, presented several pointers related to the development of the creative economy in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, the initial capital was the availability of large bandwidth for internet access needs, the availability of qualified Human Resources in the field of ICT, collaboration or friendship with other parties in development or product marketing.

The Revolutionary Era 4.0 was inseparable from the contribution of Silicon Valley to the world community, almost certainly ICT products in the form of computer hardware such as micro processors, computer systems, handheld and conventional communication devices, software that we use today products from there, he said.

Silicon Valley's success as a world-leading producer of technology is inseparable from the business strategy of Silicon Valley developers, the formerly barren region capable of being transformed into a sophisticated technology manufacturing center and study area such as Stanford University, where 70% of students come from scholarships and 30% from rich children in the world. The symbiosis of mutualism between manufacturing owners and students, is able to excite Silicon Valley with Hi-tech products that are now loved by the world community, say Apple, Windows, Intel and so on, explained Prof. Yanto.

Departing from the idea of Silicon Valley, Prof. Suyanto, under the Yogyakarta AMIKOM flag, is able to speak abroad with the product of Animation Film, he has won 70 international scale awards. Regarding the challenges and readiness of the Bantul Regency Government, Prof. Suyanto invited the Bantul Regency Government to prepare ICT facilities and infrastructure, to guide seriously the young generation who are competent in the world of computers or the creative economy, and to collaborate with educational institutions, the private sector.

Meanwhile the second speaker Evi Noor Afifah said, in the economic sector it has been seen in the transportation service sector, the presence of taxis and online taxibike has shifted the existence of conventional taxis and ojek. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 keeps a variety of negative impacts, including the threat of unemployment due to automation, natural damage due to industrial exploitation, and the rise of hoaxes due to the ease of information dissemination. Therefore, the key to facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is that, in addition to preparing technological advances, on the other hand it is necessary to develop human resources from the humanities side so that the negative impact of technological developments can be suppressed, he said.

The government has prepared Road Map Making Indonesia 4.0 as a strategy to deal with the impact of the Industrial Revolution, there are five manufacturing sectors that will be made pioneers namely: food and beverage industry, textiles and clothing, automotive,

and electronics. Implementation of Industry 4.0 in manufacturing is closely related to the provision of infrastructure and information and communication technology. Some of them include Internet of Thing (IoT), Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intellegence, Mobility, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and sensor and automation systems, said Evi.

As for the government sector, Reform 4.0 is a strategic idea that can be applied to government organizations to face the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which includes three main aspects, namely collaboration, innovation and utilization of ICTs.

Meanwhile Deputy Regent of Bantul H. Abdul Halim Muslih, in his brief remarks to appreciate Diskominfo initiating this workshop, he invited all OPDs in the Bantul Regency Government to respond to the development of information and communication technology which is now underway into the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, where many the role of human power is shifted by the use of ICT, a warm example is the rise of conventional motorcycle taxi or taxi demonstrations for the operation of taxibike or online taxis. We must deal with this with a clear heart, and be able to provide a wise solution, as well as the rise of HOAX we must also carefully approach, not to swallow raw information that is not clear source.
