Diskominfo - Located at Parasamya Main Building, this Friday morning (24/5), The Regent of Bantul Drs. H. Suharsono officially launched the 188th Anniversary of Bantul Regency. The event was also attended by Bantul Deputy Regent H. Abdul Halim Muslih, Government Assistant, Head of OPD, Camat, Community Organizations, Community Leaders, Media Crew and other invited guests.
Bantul Regent Suharsono in his remarks said that soon the whole society of Bantul Regency would jointly commemorate 188th Anniversary. He hoped, at a fairly recent age, the society and Bantul Regency Government would be able to realize their hopes and ideals.
"With the theme of the anniversary with the society, We Realize the Spirit of Makarya Mbangun Desa to Go to Bantul, Clean, Healthy, Smart and Prosperous. I invite all levels of Regional Government to close ranks and work together to show the best performance to provide excellent public service, "in order to create a empowered and independent society in achieving prosperity," said the Regent.
Furthermore, he said, Bantul Regency has received various appreciation from both the provincial government and the central government, the appreciation of which was given an award for the government agency's performance accountability system in 2018 by obtaining an A from the Kemenpan RB. The Regent invited the ranks of the Bantul Regency Government to improve and maintain the performance achievements.
"I also express my gratitude to all elements of society who have participated in the success of the development in Bantul, the spirit of mutual cooperation that inspired us all has proven to be able to provide maximum results compared to working individually," he said.
Beating The Bende ceremony by the Regent of Bantul marked the implementation of the Bantul Regency's 188th Anniversary Commemoration, Bantul's Head of Public Relations and Protocol Riswidodo, SIP, MM, on the occasion reading the Bantul Regent Decree Number 341 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of the Anniversary Commemoration Committee -188 Bantul Regency 2019.
Various events ahead of Bantul Regency Anniversary which falls on July 20 include: sub-district level workshop in Bantul Regency, Bantul District Level Workshop, inauguration of projects, pilgrimage to the tomb of the former Regent of Bantul, friendship of former Regent and Deputy Regent of Bantul, inter-tournament OPD, OPD / District / Village cleaning contest, social service, recitation of the anniversary, and anniversary ceremonies.
