According to the Head of BPTP of DIY Provice Dr. Joko Pramono said, we at the Agricultural Research Agency have been implementing the work program for 2 years or "prosperous people's poverty surgical program" with the help of selected superior chicken and research results from the Agricultural Research Agency.
This chicken has advantages, among others, its growth is fast, more resistant to disease and also produce eggs can be 180 grains / head a year.
"This year we allocate our program in Bantul Regency with a total of around 2000, this is not just our help, but we provide facilities such as help with cages and feed, even we accompany the production," he explained.
In his speech, the Regent of Bantul expressed his gratitude to the DIY Agricultural Technology Development Center for the existence of a program to provide assistance for the development of KUB chicken farming. "Hopefully this program will expand its reach so that it will encourage the realization of prosperity for the people in Bantul Regency," the Regent hoped.
The Regent of Bantul explained that, developing KUB chicken is a promising business prospect. Therefore, to the livestock group, so that the assistance received can be utilized as well as possible, so that it can continue to grow and progress to be a strong business minded farmer and can increase income for the family.
"To the farmers and groups, they can focus on market orientation with one of the ways to have and build a strong livestock group so that they will be able to strengthen the chicken farming business," said the Regent.
Furthermore, the Regent of Bantul advised to always utilize the raw materials available in our environment to be processed into feed in order to reduce production costs. Thus the results of our profits will be greater.
