Bantul Deputy Regent H. Abdul Halim Muslih welcomed the work visit of the Directorate General of Pacific & Africa of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take place at the Main Building Building Lt. III, Parasamya Bantul Complex, Tuesday (3/9).
Attending the event were Editor in Chief of Access Magazine Directorate General of Asia Pacific & Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hadi Sarifudin, Deputy Regent of Bantul, and related Regional Representative Offices in Bantul Regency.
In his speech, Hadi Sarifudin revealed, "We are a team from the access bulletin, which is a monthly magazine related to the mission to build a bridge between potential regions and market opportunities that exist abroad. Related to this, it will be loaded both regional potentials and overseas market opportunities that can be utilized with a mission that is to develop the UMK sector, "he said.
While the Deputy Regent of Bantul in his remarks said that the work visit of the Director General of Asia Pacific & Africa of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in the context of the interests of the Regency. Bantul is to bridge the development related to the industrial sector. "In 2016, Bantul Regency was established as the strongest Creative Arts District in Indonesia. The assessment has been through the study that one of the power of the Regency of Bandung is creative culture. Many creative products are produced with various materials such as bamboo, stone, clay, leather, and silver and are produced centrally or non-centrally. While the biggest creative industry sector is furniture made from wood or bamboo, "he said.
The event was followed by a discussion and a visit from the Director General of the Asia Pacific & Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia at the industrial centers Kasongan, Krebet, Batik Giriloyo and Tatah Sungging and vanilla seeds in Bambanglipuro.
