Bantul Regency received the intermediate value of the verification of Child Friendly Districts by the Verification Team of the Ministry of Village led by Dr. Ernanti Wahyurini delivered at the event the Results of the Verification of Child Worthy District Evaluation Field took place in the Third Floor Main Building of the Parasamya Complex on Friday (28/6).

Also present on the occasion was Deputy Regent of Bantul H. Abdul Halim Muslih, deputy chairman of the TP. PKK in Bantul Regency. Hj. Emi Masruroh Halim, related element from DIY, representative of the OPD and sub-district in Bantul Regency.

In his speech the Deputy Regent of Bantul said that the Child-Friendly Regency is our desire and our ideals. The government has budgeted and implemented the program so that Bantul Regency can achieve good grades from the central evaluation team that has been completed and will be explained by the evaluation team at this event.

Therefore our children must be prepared to be a healthy, intelligent future generation with Indonesian character and ready to become a capable human development. We admit, said Pak Halim, the Dinas as its leading sector, but must be fully supported by all OPDs, namely by including members who support the Child-Friendly District in Bantul Regency. "One example is that DPU provides safe and comfortable children's playgrounds, as well as other OPDs that can be budgeted to support Child-Friendly Districts, because the indicators are in OPD in Bantul Regency," he explained.

While from the verification team including Dr. Ernanti as the team leader, Ibrahim from the Ministry of Village, Kesi and Totok Suharto from the Indonesian Ministry of Women's Empowerment. Doctor Rini explained that a district or City worthy of Children had 5 clusters consisting of 24 indicators and 300 questions that had to be answered.

"We are still concerned, said Rini, that many things reported to the verification team still do not fit the criteria, while what we see in the field or at 10 sample points is quite good. However, we can only give Middle values which are between 600 700 to Bantul Regency as a Child-Friendly City in 2019, "he said.

According to him the principle of a child-worthy city is sustainable. While what makes it sustainable is the existence of regional head regulations (Perda), profiles, child-worthy information that all do not yet exist, and children's participation or children's forums that must be at the sub-district and village level. "Give children the opportunity to speak, so they can provide input on matters related to the development of children," asked Rini
